Litex® Grinding Disc

Description The Litex® disc is plastic topped with multiple layers of first-rate abrasive. The Litex® is intended to be fitted on hand grinding machines.
Backup Pad The Litex disc has a plastic back and does not require a backup pad.
Grain types available A/O (Aluminum Oxide)
S/C (Silicon Carbide)
Disc Styles: The Litex disc is flat with a plastic back.
Safety Compliance: ISO 9001 Approved
European Standard EN 13743
Usage: The Litex fits most angle grinders and does not require a backing pad. The Litex attaches directly to the hand of the grinding machine.
Comparison: In comparison to depressed center wheels or resin fiber discs the Litex is lighter, cuts faster, and grinds faster while leaving an even surface.

Features

  • Faster: The Litex cuts faster than a conventional grinding disc.
  • Loading: The Litex disc design minimizes the loading of material being ground on the disc.
  • Cooler: The Litex disc design includes holes in the disc that allows the disc to grind cooler by increasing air flow and grinding material ejection.
  • No Backing Pad: The Litex has a hard pastic back and does not require a backup pad.

Benefits

  • Faster: Less time and labor to complete the grinding task
  • Loading: The Litex disc will continue to grind when conventional discs will fail due to loading.
  • Cooler: Maintaining a cooler work surface and a cooler disc surface will maximize the life of the disc.
  • Longer Life: Multiple layers of grain, a spiral disc surface, and air cooling holes are all part of the Litex disc design that gives it a longer lifespan compared to conventional discs.
  • Backing Pad:The elimination of a backup pad lowers costs.

Semiflex® Grinding Disc

Description: The Semiflex® disc is fiber 2.0mm in thickness topped with multiple layers of first-rate abrasive. The Semiflex® is intended to be fitted on hand grinding machines with a proper backing pad.
Backup Pad: The Semiflex® disc has a heavy duty fiber backing that requires a backup pad.
Grain types available: A/O (Aluminum Oxide)
S/C (Silicon Carbide)
Disc Styles: Flat Domed
Safety Compliance: ISO 9001 Approved
European Standard EN 13743
Usage: The Semiflex® fits most angle grinders and requires a proper backing pad.
Comparison: In comparison to depressed center wheels or resin fiber discs the Semiflex is lighter, cuts faster, and grinds faster while leaving an even surface.

Features

  • Faster: The Semiflex® cuts faster than conventional grinding discs.
  • Loading: The Semiflex® disc design minimizes the loading of material being ground on the disc.
  • Cooler: The Semiflex® disc design includes holes in the disc that allows the disc to grind cooler by increasing air flow and grinding material ejection.
  • No Backing Pad: The Semiflex® has a heavy duty fiber backing that requires a backup pad.

Benefits

  • Faster: Less time and labor to complete the grinding task.
  • Loading: The Semiflex® disc will continue to grind when conventional discs will fail due to loading.
  • Cooler: Maintaining a cooler work surface and a cooler disc surface will maximize the life of the disc.
  • Longer Life: Multiple layers of grain, a spiral disc surface, and air cooling holes are all part of the Semiflex® disc design that gives it a longer lifespan compared to conventional discs.
  • Backing Pad:The backup pad absorbs heat to keep the disc cooler.  A backup pad will provide greater durability.
